Year it's a normal question to ask yourself before setting up your blog.
If you are confused in picking a niche for your blog, no problem this article will guide you thoroughly.
Just be patient in reading it and taking note of all the salient point.
Try this:Take a few minutes of your time,
Take a sheet of paper, take some minutes and write down everything you are passionate about
secondly take another minutes and write down everything you are good on
Between the two write ups, tick out the things that overlaps.
That's were you can start from, . It’s where you take something you know about and that you would be passionate about writing.
Here’s the thing – if you pick a topic you’re only mildly interested in, you won’t stick with it. It’s a waste of your time, and you won’t be successful.
Note:
No one starts out as an expert at anything. You become an expert when you become interested and keen to research on a field you chose.
You can't jump in to become an expert, you keep practicing until you got better.
If you have an interest or passion, wouldn’t you enjoy learning more about it? And the process of learning would be fun, right? It wouldn’t be a drag. If it is, you might consider a different topic to write on.
If you’re just starting out learning about how to make awesome cheap sandwiches, for example, you build your blog and community around your newfound expertise on making awesome cheap sandwiches.
You can then package that expertise into an ebook, digital course, printed book, or advertising opportunities.
You can document anything you want to get good at, that which is occurring in your life:
parenting
making cupcakes
planting trees
Building a house
how to buy a classic car
being more productive or how to build personal finance.
What I’m saying is – You can document your story about anything.
I’ve met plenty of personal finance bloggers that blogged about how to increase ones personal income.
There are things to write about if you figure out your Big "WHYs.." Feel free, Just write!
Just write. Write anything. People are curious, and they want to get to know you.
If you have to write about what you did this weekend and file it under your My Life folder on your blog – that’s great! But don’t let the naysayers get you down. You can earn a living as a blogger, and you can do it.
